Tank looks good, but that technology is about 30 years old. It costs money to be in the modern, more efficient equipment. Very few companies us direct fired asphalt tanks anymore. Bobby needs to update his equipment. Direct Fired Asphalt tanks will not work well with modified asphalts.

Jason, great meeting you and thanks for the kind words. You guys are off the hook too! Great time had by all. the water is reused and the aggregate is usually separated by a 1/4- screen and the sand and stone are reused in new mix. It's a great system. Our customers love em. We have a calculator on our website that show the ROI time based on annual volume. Looking fwd to getting your RSS feeds at Sales Lion

Owen, man you're a freaking natural. Great vids and great commentary. By the way, what are some of the applications for the re-purposed material. Is it added back into the mix as a fine aggregate?..or sold as a base material for contractors? Just curious.

Doug's knowledge of potentially negative environmental impacts of concrete plants is very timely. The need for education is an important factor in the responsible production of concrete.
